Siddharth and Shruti Hassan together

Hero Siddharth’s fantasy film under the direction of Prakash Kovelamudi (son of K Raghavendra Rao) was launched at Ramoji Film City.

Shruti Hassan is the heroine in this film. K Raghavendra Rao is making this film under ABODE (A Bellyful of Dreams Entertainment) banner. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music.

SS Rajamouli tapped the clapboard, Krish switched on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot.

Speaking on this occasion SS Rajamouli said: "There are lots of human emotions in this film. Prakash is a talented director and he can present the film different manner".

Siddharth said; I am very happy to act in a film produced by K Raghavendra Rao. Prakash is a capable director and he will take Telugu film to the international level. Prakash earlier directed the films like ‘Neetho’ in Telugu and ‘Morning Raaga’ in English. Later he directed the National Award winning ‘Bellyful of Dreams’.

Prakash said: “The protagonist role of this movie needs a broad range of emotions on his face. We are planning to release comic books, games and other collections before the release of the movie so that the audience can easily understand the theme and fantasy portion of the flick”.

Camera is handled by Soundar Rajan. JK Bharavi and Ramesh Samala are roped in for the dialogues department.

Shruti Rajalakshmi Haasan was born to actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika on January 28, 1986 in Chennai, India.Shruti haasan did her debut song for the film Thevar Magan. She was only 6 years age at that time. The film was done by her father Kamal Haasan. Clearly an advantage for her. in school, Haasan made her singing debut in the Hindi language film, Chachi 420, singing a duet performing for the voice of a child, with her father Kamal Haasan. This film was also directed by her father Kamal Haasan.

The 21-year-old daughter of superstar Kamal Haasan and actor Sarika is obviously proud, even grateful, for her genes. “It would never be enough to say how much I have learnt from my parents,” says the multi-talented Shruti who is a singer, song-writer and plans to act too.She just finished a course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, she currently wishes to dwell on her dearest passion, music. “I’m thrilled that I can write my own music! I realised that this was the most effective way to communicate a part of myself to the world when I was much younger.

Shruti Haasan, has most recently sung in a Tamil film,for Gautham Menon's Vaaranam Aayiram under the composition of Harris Jayaraj,As of July 2007, Haasan is also midway through her untitled debut album, which she has composed, written and sung, and is set for release in mid-2008.
