Sun Pictures have now successfully started promotions for Vijay’s upcoming film “Vettaikaran’. Sun Pictures –a wing of Sun Network continuously picks the commercial films and promotes them vividly. Of course, those films have witnessed big collections at box office indeed.

Followed by the grand success of “Ninaithale Inikkum’ and “Kanden Kadhalai’, Sun Pictures has now turned its focus on “Vettaikaran’. The film feature Vijay and Anushka in lead roles and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan.

The film is produced by AVM Productions and later Sun Pictures acquired the rights for a record price. Recently, there were some buzzes about Hansraj Saxena, COO of Sun Pictures insisting Vijay to re-shoot some sequences that involved political dialogues. Nonetheless, sources have stated that those sequences have been retained.

Sun Pictures has lavishly spent on promoting the film in all major cities. The gigantic banners at Sathyam Cinemas nearly costs Rs.6 Lakhs per month.

Just few days ago we reported that Actor Vijay’s 50th film has been confirmed and it will be produced by Sangili Murugan, who has directed Vijay’s all time best hit Kadhalukku Mariyadhai. Now the producer has registered the old MGR film title Urimai Kural for Vijay‘s Golden Jubilee film. So Urimai Kural will be the title for Vijay’s 50th film.

Uncrowned queen of Kollywood at the moment, Tamannah, who is now basking in the glory of the super success of Surya starrer 'Ayan' will be the heroine opposite Tamil action hero Vijay in his 50th film.

Vijay is currently busy with his movie Vettaikaran directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. Vettaikaran is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan and will be distributed by AVM Productions. The film has Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.

Asin, who is creating waves in Bollywood would act in the 50th movie of Vijay. It is said that the film would go to the floors soon, with a famous director wielding the megaphone for it.

Confirming this, Asin has said in an interview that she had been approached to act opposite Vijay again, as the pair's earlier ventures 'Sivakasi' and 'Pokkiri' became blockbusters. 'I will take a positive decision soon,' she said.

She also said that talks are on to share the screen space with Kamal Hassan, in a film to be directed by Bharat Bala. Meanwhile the actress is eagerly awaiting the release of her maiden Hindi venture 'Ghajini' in which she shares the screen with Aamir Khan.

The remake of the Tamil hit with the same title, the movie has generated a lot of hype in Bollywood. Aamir Khan too had expressed his admiration for Asin's acting talents.
