A song from the film ‘Sye Aata’ remains to be canned. The film is directed by KRK Pavan, presented by Kanipakam Creations and produced by Nalluri Rajasekhar and Sudharani under the banner of Frames Entertainments.

Presently re-recording is in progress for the movie. Giving details, producers say, “Our film would unveil a novel angle in Charmme with a quite new subject and different movement. Devisri Prasad scored fantastic music for the flick. All the songs are situational. We gave equal importance to the subject as well as the songs. We would soon unveil the audio and are making efforts to release the film by the end of February.”

It looks like Telugu filmmakers are pulling out all stops to make their big-budget extravaganzas huge money-spinners. Close on the heels of sexy starlets Charmme, Hansika and Deepika Padukone shaking their booties in item songs, it’s now the turn of other Bollywood hotties Shriya Saran, Anita Hasanandani and Mahek Chahal to gyrate with T-town superstars. Even T-town’s numero uno Anushka is joining the fray with a special number in Takita Takita. “Anushka has confirmed she’ll do a special song in our film,” said producer Bharat Thakur. Meanwhile, Shriya’s making a comeback to Tollyland with a racy number with Pawan Kalyan in Komaram Puli. Another screen scorcher Anita is also bouncing back with a foot-tapping chartbuster in Kalaver King. “It’s a fascinating number and I really enjoyed dancing to it,” says Anita.

Dileep is an actor who has 'discovered' many new actresses in the industry. His latest new heroine is Charmi, with whom he's starring in Kamal's new untitled film. The shooting has been on in Ooty since September 4.

Charmi stepped in for Mamta Mohandas, who withdrew claiming she was sick. After a week's search, Kamal and Dileep zeroed in on Charmi because the character needed someone who could pull off glamour. (Charmi made her debut in Malayalam in Vinayan's Katuchemabakam before she became Telugu films' oomph girl.)

'Aagathan is a romantic suspense thriller with a great twist in the end,' said Kamal. 'Sathyaraj plays a retired army, General Harindranath Varma, and is the pivot around which the film revolves. Ex-Bollywood heroine Zarina Wahab plays his wife and Charmi his daughter.'

Aagathan is Sathyaraj's first foray into Malayalam, though he has acted in a lot of Malayalam remakes.

'When Kamal narrated the story to me, I fell in love with my character retired - General Harindranath Varma,' said Sathyaraj. 'The highlight will be my scenes with Dileep, who is a fine actor.

Charmme's Sye Aata Packed Up Directed by KRK Pavan, Frames Entertainments 'Sye Aata' has completed it's shoot. Producers Nalluri Rajasekhar, Sudharani say that the film has a contemporary love story and music by Devisri Prasad is it's primary asset.

Right now the re-recording is going on. The film is scheduled to release in the last week of this month. The remaining artistes are Rao Ramesh, Sivaprasad, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Ajay. Cinematography is by J. Prabhakar Reddy and editing is by Nandamuri Hari.

Charmi Kaur with Mammootty

Charmi Kaur the hot and sexy Telugu actress has been roped in by hit director Shaji Kailas to be Mammootty’s heroine in his next film tentatively titled Dronar.

The 23 year old Charmi actually started her career in Malayalam with Vinayan’s Kattu Chembakkam (2002), which bombed. After doing innumerable Telugu and a few Tamil films Charmi has now come back to Kerala.

She has made her comeback in Dileep’s Kamal directed Aagathan, for which she is shooting in Ooty. Now Charmi will play the first heroine opposite Mammootty in the film which will also have another heroine.

The shoot of Dronar will start in Ottapalam from November 5. Mammootty will complete his Chattambinadu and join the unit by Nov 7.
